Little Blue Box Manicure
Well, it's pretty obvious where I got the inspiration for this manicure. Does that explain all the "Tiffany blue"-like swatches I've been doing? Here is Nfu Oh #394...There were so many other Konad motifs that I wanted to incorporate into this design. However, there just wasn't enough room on my nails! The bow is from M59. The gem and box are from M14. The silver glitter is China Glaze's Tinsel...
Ideally, I would have liked a bow on my pinkie nail but there was no way that was happening! That bow is huge! Also, I wish I had put a bow on my thumb... It's always easier to criticize when you actually see the prints on the nails vs. ideas swirling around in your head! Hope you like it!
Oh my god, I LOVE this! This is so cute, what an awesome idea :D
ReplyDeleteI love the colours and the designs are too cute. I've yet to try and fit that massive bow on my nails, it is a monster lol
ReplyDeleteI love love LOVE your manis! You are so creative, and your application makes me droooool. One day I'll have beautiful nails like you...one day...
ReplyDeleteI love Tiffany's, and your nails are the perfect embodiment of their little blue box. I just love this :) it looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, you aren't dropping a tiny little hint for someone in your life with that manicure, are you? I mean, Valentine's Day IS right around the corner, after all...
ReplyDelete(and if your significant other is like mine, you'd also need an arrow pointing to where the ring should go on your left ring finger, and someone nearby to smack him on the head and say "D'oh!")
Beautiful mani, btw! I think that Nfu Oh shade matches more perfectly than For Audrey.
WOW! That has to be the coolest manicure I have ever seen! I love it!
ReplyDeleteVery cute mani!
ReplyDeleteI really like how with the pointer and ring you have some nail polish glitterised (heh, is that even a word?) and a bit without. Looks very effective!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable, I love the different designs...I did a similar Mani with CG's For Audrey...simpy cute!
ReplyDeleteLuLu, I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sending it to Tiffany's! Wow, how talented you are!! I'm still practicing!
ReplyDeleteAnd where do you get nfu oh? Do you have to order it online or do you think I can buy it somewhere?
ReplyDeleteLooks absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm a sucker for bows...
Just love them, so cute! <3
Love it!!! I'm gonna repeat it if I can get the supplies. But since I'm just starting, can you do something with white and black stamping? Just if you are bored and need an idea! Thanks Lu!
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute! I <3
ReplyDeleteI love this manicure =) Yesterday I did a bow mani myself - will follow on my blog today. I hate that I can't fit the bows on my nails, because I love that damn design too much!
ReplyDeleteThank you ALL for such nice comments!!
ReplyDeleteBabyD- Yah that bow is tricky! It JUST fits on most of my nails... Not my pinkie though :(
ReaderRita- No, haha. It's not a Valentine's Day hint. Actually, I don't even own any Tiffany jewelry! I'm just obsessed with their brand identity: the color, box, etc. The extent of their brand awareness is so neat to me! Would we like Tiffany & Co. so much without the "Tiffany Blue"? Probably not... Well, I wouldn't.
Jennifer (Fridley)- You better not send it to anyone! Or I'm not going to do a black and white design for you! :) [If anyone is reading this, Jennifer is my aunt...]
Trincess- Oh I love the bow too! It's so girly! I like that it is big, so you can tell that it is a bow without needing a magnifying glass!
Thank you all again! :)
Oh my! I adore this manicure! Wow.. perfection! ♥
ReplyDeletei love this konadicure :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, such a cute theme!
