OPI Lucky Lucky Lavender
Yikes! This is the first time I've tried this polish and I've had it for over a month now...
Is this really lavender? I thought lavender was more "purple". Hmmm?
Anyways, this is 2 coats. I think the formula on the Hong Kong collection is shinier than usual. Anyone agree? (I did not apply a top coat in this photo.)
I had the same thought! Lavender? Really? BUT it is a fabulously gorgeous pink with hints if lavender :) Looks great on you!!
ReplyDeleteI really love this color, too bad OPI isn't available here.I would have gone and grabbed it if it were :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Brooke & Rhea!
ReplyDeleteI think this one is just in between purple and pink - it looks more pink though. At least to me. It's a beautiful color.
ReplyDeleteBTW: I love your photos! =)
Lavender? This can't be lol. It just seems to pink for me, but a beautiful color still. I agree, the OPI HK polishes seem shiney, I just wish they were all like that!
ReplyDelete*nods* When I got Lucky Lucky Lavender in the mail I thought.. okay... but where is the lavender part of this nail polish? O.o
ReplyDeleteNonetheless it looks gorgeous on you. :)
I only have tried Jade Is The New Black yet and I apply the top coat too fast to notice if these cremes are shinier than usual. *blushes* =)
Nihrida- Yes, it is more on the pink side in my opinion as well! Thanks! Glad you like my pictures :)
ReplyDeletePolish Hoochie- I think some of the older polishes are shiney! I have Ulta-mate Berry Beautiful (red polish by OPI) and it is perfect! Goes on in just 1 coat and is super glossy! I used to use it a lot in my Konad manicures... until I looked it up on Ebay and it is $20! I will think twice next time! It is going to be a "special occasion" polish :)
Swatchaholic- I'm wearing" Jade Is The New Black" today!... In fact, I bought a back-up bottle for "JITNB" today! It's gorgeous! I can't remember if it is as shiney as "Lucky Lucky Lavender"... I forgot to take notice!
