Dyed Easter Eggs?

Here is another attempt at Easter eggs. I'm not convinced this pulls off the look I was going for. Anyone else having difficulties creating nail art for Easter?
Base - OPI Pink-ing Of You
Stamped Image - Konad M78 (White Special Polish)
Glitter - China Glaze's Tinsel
I wanted them to look marbled without actually having to marble my nails. Then I threw on some glitter to see if that would help give them that hand-decorated look. You know, some eggs have glitter nowadays.

But here is a picture without glitter:
And then I used Essie's Matte About You. I don't like the matte version at all...
Overall, I like the nails a lot (with the exception of the matte effect) but I don't particularly think they scream "Easter"... Dang.

  1. I think it's prettiest without the Tinsel on top. That's a nice design.

  2. I love it more without the glitter but it's still very pretty.

I'm stumped on what to do for Easter...I'm thinking of going w/ white dots on some pastel blue. Decisions decisions.

  7. I think all manis are gorgeous! :-)) They remind me of candy. Don't know what mani would scream Easter - maybe each nail in different colour... :-D Happy Easter!

  10. oooh i love this! i would go w/o the glitter, but it's always fun to experiment :D your nails are always so perfect. question, how do you take the pictures of your nails from that angle? do you put your camera on a tripod or have someone else take it? i've tried getting the same angle and i just can't figure it out. thanks in advance!
