Essie - Chinchilly
I don't usually buy polishes other than OPI. I don't know why. I feel safe with OPI. I know whatever they produce will be great... BUT I saw this color and had to have it.It's amazing! Phew. A justified non-OPI purchase.
Chinchilly is more gray than tan... it's like khaki gray. Or maybe like chocolate milk! The kind you mix with the syrup. Sometimes that looks a little less brown and more like dirty milk. Haha. Sick.
It's a safe color but it is so different that it stands out. You know?
I can see myself using this whole bottle.
Yikes. Since I say that, maybe I need a backup!
P.S. Don't forget to check out my Weekly Challenge! I hope that you will join the fun!

ReplyDeleteSuch a versatile color--chic, classy, cool altogether!
ReplyDeleteLove this polish, I'm lemming it so hard! Looks great on you! :)
ReplyDeletewas inspired by your post and tried on You Don't Know Jacques. The grey-brown is great on lighter skin tones. Chinchilly looks totally gorge on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteBabyD- I found this at Ulta!
Ping- I agree. Very chic...
Nailinit- Thanks! :)
Amy- I have You Don't Know Jacques. I should see how similar they are! I think YDKJ might be a tad darker... Yah it looked good on me a week ago (when I wore it) but my hands are so much tanner now. It might not have the same effect. It would prolly (more or less) blend in with my skin.
Agh! now I am conflicted, had just decided I was over the whole "griege" thing and have put my Nails Inc The Thames and Jermyn Street on a back burner and then I saw this and am loving it again - that said it does look amazing on your incredibly fab nails, nail envy big time here!
ReplyDeleteI want it... :)
