No, not really... but that's what I thought of after seeing this!
I layered one coat of OPI "Megawatt" over OPI "Damone Roberts 1968" and this is what I got. Do you like it? It's very pretty but I'm not a shimmer person. "Megawatt" lives up to its name. It's like the polish is glowing. It is sooo bright! I might try it over a pink. I've always liked pink and yellow/gold together.
Wow, SO beautiful! I own Megawatt too and now I need to try it over a mint! Really nice!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't like too much gold but this rocks!!
i like it! gorgeous as usual.. =)
ReplyDeleteooh, looks very pretty, I really thought it was CdM then!
ReplyDeleteLooks so gorgeous and yummy, Creme de Menthe is the right name for it :)
ReplyDeleteLovely. Slightly brushstroke-city but these macros (or whatever) show up the tiniest detail.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really gorgeous combination! I definitely need to try something like this. I always love the way your photos turn out! Do you have a tutorial for them at all?
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. It really jazzes us Damone Roberts.
ReplyDeleteThis combo is really cool! I'd love to see a pic when you layer it over pink. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Such a glimmery color.
ReplyDeleteThat does remind me of Creme de Menthe! You tease!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Looks so different on the nail than in the bottle.
ReplyDeleteI want. :)

Ooh, absolutely love this! I'd love to see this over a pink or even blue, just to see what it looks like since you've piqued my curiosity.
ReplyDeleteHey guys! Thanks for all of the comments. Sorry if I tricked some of you by calling it "Creme de Menthe" ;) But since CdM is so unobtainable I thought I'd show another option to get a similar look! I'm definitely going to try this over other colors since several of you are interested :)
ReplyDeletestunning - makes me want to go out and but both right away
ReplyDeleteI love it! This is so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteGah, I wish you'd done this before I spent way too much on Creme de Menthe. This looks fantastic - what a brilliant idea! Even if Damone Roberts is sold out again, there are many similar colors - you've just saved scores of ladies buckets of money!
ReplyDeleteOOH!!!! I'm trying this out! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
Ooh! I've got both! I LOVE Megawhatt?!! and DR1968!
ReplyDeleteGreat Combo!!!!
so pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteI love yellowish-greens!
Does Megawatt still "exists"?
Sara B- It "exists" because I found it in a salon not too long ago but I think it was a lucky find. Many of the polishes they had were old... I'm sure Megawatt is discontinued though.
ReplyDeleteThis looks exactly like my all time favourite Inglot nail polish!
