Holy cow! 75% Off??!
The funny thing about my shopping trip is that the whole time I was shifting through the sale bottles, I kept telling myself "Don't forget to check the brushes". I hate when I get home with a brand new bottle and the bristles are all mashed-up because someone carelessly opened and shut the polish. You know what is worse than having messed up bristles?...
Having NO BRISTLES AT ALL! LOL!
I also got this color from the new Essie Resort Collection. "Turquoise & Caicos". I paid full price for this one. (*I think this may be the best match for a Tiffany Blue that I've seen! I'll get around to swatching it and let you know...)
I didn't buy one OPI polish this time around! Here is China Glaze's "Sun Worshiper". It's an ultra bright orange. Neon orange. It is going to be a perfect color for pedicures this summer!
Lastly, I got another bottle of Seche Vite. No, now it's just called Vite.
Why do they have to change things around on us? Here is a photo of the new and an old (but new, unused) bottle of Seche top coat:
If you are wondering why I bought another bottle even though I had one at home: I thought it was on sale at the store. I guess I didn't read the tag right because it wasn't. Also, it's always a good idea to have a backup!

Oh, I'm loving blue berry crumb. You got a good deal! :)
Vite will be back to seche vite soon, just a batch of "vite" ones lol
Exactly the same though
ooooo amazing deal on the Essie's!!
Hmm... Not sure Essie's Turquoise is really that blue... more green. If you're thinking the blue from the Tiffany's box, China Glaze For Audrey is a dead ringer. So is Chanel's Nouvelle Vague, but the Chanel one is a huge globby mess, and ridiculously expensive.
rmcandlelight- Yes I know! I snatched it up in a heartbeat! :)
Rebekah- Yah, it's weird that they changed the name. If I hadn't seen it on another blog I would have gone to the store looking for "Seche Vite" and left with nothing because it wasn't there... Good thing I was well aware!
Emily- I could be wrong. I'm basing the color on the envelopes that the catalogs are sent in...
That's amazing that you got essie polishes for $1.75!!! I may have to see if there is a Trade Secret in the mall near me.
That happened to me before - an OPI with no bristles! It was so frustrating. I'm planning to request brushes direct from OPI to replace the useless stem.
The no bristles 'Opera' shot made me chuckle! I have never seen/heard of that ever happening!! I mean, I shouldn't chuckle because it is lame.. But ya know what I mean.. (I hope!)
Oh & your photos are amazing!!
What a total bargain. Shame about the Opera polish having no bristles though! ;o(
Beata- I know! I love Trade Secret. I get a lot of my OPI's from there...
Bellebathandbeyond- Oh no! I think it is funny it didn't have any. I wonder if they are just floating around in there though or if they are completely missing...?
Leanne- Haha I know! I'm okay with it though... for $1.75, I'll paint it on with a toothbrush!
dude! lol, i wish i could go to trade secret TODAY! my next day off is Sunday, hope they still have blueberry crumb! love trade secret!
I noticed that about Seche on Colette's blog...why? What's wrong with the name Seche Vite?
