It's a new challenge!
This week you must create a pretty design using JUST THE TIPS of your nails! Do not use a base color for your nail. Keep it clean and use a skin tone polish as your base if your nails are stained (like mine!)... Other than that, use color on your tips! Or stamp! Or use non-traditional nail art materials! Let's see what you can do!! :)
The deadline details are a little different for this week:
- Send me your "Just Tips" nail designs by Sunday (8-15-10) at 5pm (CST) to polishhoarder@gmail.com! COPY AND PASTE your blog address into your email if you would like me to include it with your entry!
- PLEASE, please (!) use these dimensions as your final image size: 7" WIDE x 5.25" TALL @ 72 dpi
- And lastly, DON'T FORGET to name your file like this: "nameofblog_yourfirstname.jpg"
I'm changing the Challenge/Gallery posting dates for the next couple weeks to fit better with my schedule. Hope you don't mind! Now you'll have the weekend to work on your entries though :)

FUN!!! I've been wanting to do a french, so this is PERFECT!
I <3 funky frenches! Is it OK to use something maybe just a little sparkly (I'm thinking like China Glaze Fairy Dust) on the nailbed? Mine aren't stained, I just think they're sooo boring without a little something LOL.

Colette- Sure! As long as it is natural-like, you know? I think Fairy Dust would be a nice neutral glitter... Lippmann's Happy Birthday would not! LOL :)

Crlsweetie912- Yep! Use the same name as your email account so after I download your photo to my computer, then I can easily find your email if I need to go back to it :)

Literally seconds before reading this I had snipped off 3 mm of free edge, hence I have no tips now :D
This is just perfect! Due to getting back to work I'm forced to do less colorful nail art - and been wearing just subtle gold-ish tips. So I have the base on as I'm typing, just design something on them when I get home to celebrate the weekend :)
I'm really excited about this! What's ironic is that a day before the challenge theme was posted, I had done a French manicure on my nails! I was like, this is TOO perfect!!
Also, I was mad that I didn't submit something for the Nature Challenge. Because, also ironically, the day after the Challenge due date, I first discovered this website! And I had just painted my nails with autumn trees, while not even knowing about the nature challenge!
