Irish Plaid

Konad Nail Art, OPI 28 comments

I've got another St. Patrick's Day manicure for you today. This time I was inspired by the pattern on kilts and the colors of the Irish flag (seen at Lacquer Laine)!
Green- OPI Green-wich Village
Orange- OPI Brights Power
Konad Image- Plate M60
Ugh, I hate how the white turned yellow on top of the orange polish. It is fine over the green though... So weird!

I love this manicure! I thought about trying to do plaid, but it seemed impossible. How did you get your lines so skinny?

I wouldn't worry about the white turning yellow. It just looks creme colored and totally intentional!

Thank you guys for commenting! I love to hear what you have to say :)

Mary Ann- You have to stamp the image in one smooth motion. If you are shaky or pressing hard and then releasing some of the tension, you will have wavy lines. If you notice, some of my nails have a little wave in the image... it could also be from the shape of the nail. Hope that helps!
