This week's challenge idea was an awesome suggestion from Danielle back in June! Great idea, huh? The deal is, you pick a song and find a way to translate the lyrics and its meaning onto your fingernails! This challenge is especially challengey (yah, I just made up that adjective) because you will want the viewers to be able to figure out your song of choice! Have fun! This one is going to be tough!... At least, in my opinion :)
The deadline details are a little different for this week:
- Send me your "Song Inspiration" nail designs by Sunday (8-22-10) at 5pm (CST) to polishhoarder@gmail.com! COPY AND PASTE your blog address into your email if you would like me to include it with your entry!
- PLEASE, please (!) use these dimensions as your final image size: 7" WIDE x 5.25" TALL @ 72 dpi
- And lastly, DON'T FORGET to name your file like this: "nameofblog_yourfirstname.jpg"

oh this one is really cool but at the same time so hard! I think I should have had more time to enter :P
How do you resize pictures to the right dimensions? I'd like to enter, but I'm not sure how to resize :(
Tassa- Haha... I'm very interested in seeing how people complete this challenge!
Simone- Yes, this one will be difficult! This challenge is 5 days long just like they typically are (usually they start on Monday and end on Friday)... Hopefully you will find time to create a design!
Dr4gonf1y- I can resize it since you don't know how. I can't really tell you "how" to do it because I'm not sure of your software... :)

Oooo.... This is gonna be a toughie. I searched through all the music in my ipod today, trying to find the perfect song to design my nails to! This is a hard challenge, and I'm so excited to see what everyone's designs will be! I just HAVE make mine good. It's my own personal challenge.
And thanks, PHD, for holding these challenges, They're so much fun and they keep us nail lovers, interacting with each other! I LOVE IT!
This'll be my 2nd challenge, and I plan to keep entering designs for future challenges.

If someone was REALLY lazy they could do Lippman Across the Universe or Bad Romance hehehe. I wouldn't even know where to start with this challenge, but I can't wait to see the results.

O.o A true challenge - first one I haven't had multiple ideas instantly cascading into mind. Unfortunately the lyric that's currently stuck in my head I don't think I'd want to re-enact on my nails LOL. I've got a ton of music, time to put the iPod on random & see what stands out!
