This week's challenge is to create a grayscale nail design and include a pop of color! You can only use one color so make it a good one :) Also, you may use that color as much as you want. It just has to be the ONLY color besides black, white, and gray. That's it! Have fun!
Send me your "Color Accent" nail designs by Saturday (7-24-10) at midnight (CST) to polishhoarder@gmail.com! Add a link to your blog if you would like me to include it with your entry!
PLEASE, please (!) use these dimensions as your final image size: 7" WIDE x 5.25" TALL @ 72 dpi
And lastly, DON'T FORGET to name your file like this: "nameofblog_yourfirstname.jpg"

Interesting idea!
Aurora's Nails- Yes! I'm excited about doing this one. I think it will be fun. I might need to "franken" a true gray polish though! :)

Colette- I think this would be a good challenge to try water marbling! [hint, hint]! LOL, I love your marbled nails! I've been practicing on press-ons... I'm so awful at it!
I like this one! I'm feeling grey and I could just add the merest hint of colour and still comply with the T&Cs.
Dammit I better go buy a grey - the hint of watermarbling really interests me! Might do all grey with one marble nail accent

*blinks* LOL you'd think marbling would always be my first idea but it didn't even occur to me! Now I've got patterns & ideas swirling around (pardon the pun) =D
Darn! I just put falsies on because my nubbins were making me mental & I wanted to give my nails a chance to heal & grow out a bit. (I had a really bad tear on my thumb)
Well I guess I can try to whip this one out later in the week! We'll see. Sounds like a fun one though. :)

Oh, am in no way complaining that I "have" to go get new polish. Seriously. I love it!!! Now...my husband may be a different story. LOL He has collected comics for YEARS - now it's my turn. :)
I've never wanted to enter a challenge before but black and white with a splash of color was EXACTLY the mani I was already planning to do today. What a strange coincidence! So I'm definitely entering now! It's meant to be! Hahaha

A little late to the party. Black,white,and shades of gray. Does that mean we have to use more than one shade of gray? I've already thought of a good color accent,and love this idea, because I just frankened a grey recently,and received my Art Club Black and White All Over kit. Perfect timing. Now to work on it!

Starlight- You can use as many grays as you want. Or none if that's what you choose! I just only want you to use ONE color :)
so, just to clarify, is it one POLISH, or one COLOR, cause I have two polishes of the same color that I'd like to use, but I don't want to break the rules =] And this will be my first challenge! I'm excited!
Janna- You should create your manicure with black, white, and gray polishes and then add one color, like blue. Let's say you have a striping polish in blue and a regular bottle of polish in the same blue. It is okay to use them both :)
