Challenge time!
This week is all about blood-suckers! Create a manicure that you think would be suitable for a vampire. If it helps, imagine that you are one... What shape are your nails? What color of polish do you wear? What is your fashion style? And if you want, give yourself a name! Just have fun :) I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!
"Seriously, Polish Hoarder?" Vampires in July??" Yes guys! It's the perfect time for it! The 3rd season of True Blood is finally airing and I just saw the newest movie of the Twilight series, Eclipse (best one so far! It was also my favorite book)... PLUS, Halloween is just around the corner! By the way, if you were wondering, yes that is half of my face in the challenge photo. I was a vampire a couple Halloweens ago. Fun teeth, eh? :)

Ooo, vampires! One of my favorite things =) Of course, I am currently like 3 episodes behind on True Blood ... but I have at least 3 other vampire series in my book pile right now LOL.
This will be interesting ... because the kind of nail will totally depend on the kind of vampire. I mean, the creeping in the dark nosferatu would have a totally different mani than a sparkly Twilight vamp =D

Colette- I NEVER read but for some reason I started reading the Twilight books. I got through all of them except the 4th. I've been stuck on it for 2 years now. LOL... I DO however, watch a lot of the vampire shows: True Blood, the Gates, etc. They are just so intriguing! You are right about the variety of vampires out there! I still haven't decided which I will show in my manicure... :)

That's true! I just love last year's so much that it has created a mental block.
I am all over this one!! I just have to come up with an idea! HUGE Anne Rice fan, right here!! *waves* I also am really enjoying the Anita Blake and Sookie novels.
I have read the Twilight Saga as well, but after Anne Rice's vampires, it's hard to take seriously.

Sarah- I'm not a bigger "reader" so I don't know who Anne Rice is... Maybe I should look some of her books if you think they are better than the Twilight series! Yah, that's me! LOL I had those teeth from a Halloween costume so I popped them in for a photograph for this challenge! By the way, those are the Scarecrow brand fangs. They work really well!
PH, you probably know & just don't know you know - Rice's Interview with the Vampire got made into a movie & Brad Pitt & Tom Cruise make some damn sexy vampires!
SARAH - I loved Anne Rice's vampires, I was so mad when she said she wasn't going to write about them anymore =( But I have plenty to still keep up with including Anita & Sookie, & right now I'm reading Queen Betsy (by MaryJanice Davidson) & at home I have the newest "Dead" book (by Tate Halloway) & also #2 in the Chicagoland Vampires (by Chloe Neill) =)
