OPI DS "Reflection" - 2 Coats
It was pretty much unanimous that everyone preferred my Canon (point-and-shoot) photographs compared to my Nikon D90 (DSLR)... but I HAD to use the D90 for "Reflection". Reds are so hard to accurately capture. The Canon really saturated the color of this polish. It looked bright, neon magenta! Is was totally off! So here is "Reflection" seen through the Nikon:
Don't mind my corpsey complexion. We will just pretend that I intended on my hands looking this way in the spirit of Halloween! ;) I plan on experimenting more with my white balance so I can get a more natural color in my hands!
Those flakes are holographic! (I know, you can't tell. Use your imagination!)
Thanks for stopping by :)

My Pentax DSLR machine makes my complexion look paler than my two digital cameras. They all tend to look my hands reddish. But the yellow of my skintone is always prominent in pictures. =)
Sorry this is coming late, but glad to have you back! So close to your 1000 followers, too! (I just passed the mark yesterday =)
Trincess- Cameras are so frustrating! They just can't capture what the human eye can see :( ... Thanks! :) It's good to be back! I'm excited to hit 4 digits! Last year I never could have imagined it... PS I saw that you reached 1000 yesterday on your blog. CONGRATS! :)
Very pretty color. I'm always jealous after seeing your photos. :) I'm working on the whole "getting an awesome camera doodad" business. But, that's going to have to wait a while. Until then, I'm just going to look at your pictures, drool, be envious, and lust after the OPIs that you have that I don't. :)
btw I meant "they all tend to make my hands look reddish." what's up with me and the typos lately? =)
congrats on your nearly 1000 followers, too! any giveaway in sight? =
So gorgeous! This is in my untrieds, have to try it soon! :D
Lady C- Aww thank you :) I take a TON of pictures for each manicure so I can get the "best" shot of it that I can! Seems like everyone prefers my (much cheaper) Canon's photographs over my Nikon's pictures. I do not consider my Canon to be an "awesome camera"... it's really just all about having the right settings applied!
Trincess- Lol I knew what you meant :) I want to host a giveaway... I'm not sure how to go about it. I've been procrastinating. I wanted to have one at 500! I'm such a slacker. Haha. Anyways, I've got a few bottles set aside for a giveaway. DS Glamour, Hey Get In Lime, and Mummy May I. I want it all to color coordinate so I need a few more items to tie them together, etc. I definitely need some more goodies to go in it too! Maybe something Iowa related just for fun!
Solveig- Thanks! I've had this one forever! Maybe a year... I had no idea how pretty it was on. AND the application was amazing!!
Amazing color. I love your pictures :)
That color is so pretty!! You may not be able to see the holo-y goodness in the flakies in the macro pic, but you can definitely see it in the nails pic. Sooo pretty.
AllYouDesire- Yes it is! And thank you :) I love your pictures!!
Megan- Ahhh yes! It is such a nice polish!
Awesome and lovely colour! Thanks for the swatches:)
This is a nice colour, but the reflection I like the most is the one of your nails in each of your posts, on this reflective surface. It has such a beautiful effect everytime... which may be the reason why I keep coming back to your Funny Bunny pictures, and it makes me sigh with joy only to look at them, god knows why :)
Oh my, this is just gorgeous. I love it.
My point and shoot camera is a Olympus and it just turns my skin green, completely green...horrible...But it has the best macro in the world!
My DSLR Sony, which is the one I use in my pics, capture most of the colors pretty well, but when it hates a certain colors it really screws up w/ my skintone and I spend hours on PS making everything look right...lol...cameras...
I blame a lot on the lighting too! I have to do everything w/ fluorescent lamps...I hate them, so little potency... I might get a real product photography desk w/ halogen lighting...
I loove that polish! It was one of my first swatches!
What a pretty polish!! The DS collection is really amazing. Beautifully photographed as usual :)
Soo beautifull! <3 I like it a lot :)
